Do you usually always run the same route? It gets boring, very boring. Why not switch up the scenery? By mixing it up some we can keep it fresh and maximize our workout sessions. Remember your body loves change, by doing the same route over and over you body gets use to it. Even though you still see results, you are losing benefits by running the same route.
Even if you have no choice but to run the same route every time there is still some changes we can make. We can do long runs,fartleks,hill climbs and maybe some HIIT training.
No matter where you are or what you run there is always something we can do to our running workouts to make it more interesting and fun!
I forgot about this place,busy,work and just life has got into the way. I have lost about 100 pounds and am down to 215 at 15% body fat. Not bad for someone who was over 300 pounds. I learned a lot from and was running to lose weight, and it worked for me. I still go to the gym a few times a week if I have time and run as much as I can.
I learned over my weight loss journey that diet is the major role in losing weight. You can workout and run all you want but you want lose a pound if your diet is not at least semi healthy. You can have days where you eat everything, but moderation is the key to success.
After doing all of this my weight loss goal is no longer a goal, or well anything. Some where along my journey it turned into a lifestyle for me. I hope everyone the best of luck in their weight loss journey! O this is what I look like now! hahah

Basically just another fat guy attempting to be skinny. Well atleast I am almost there. I have went from 320 pounds down to 215, with a few more to shed. I am also training on my first half marathon. So stay tuned. Any other suggestions or comments are welcome.
